This Privacy Policy describes how HontWatch ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our use of the Pinterest API. This application is not endorsed by or affiliated with Pinterest.
HontWatch is a personal content management tool that uses the Pinterest API solely to post product images and descriptions to our own Pinterest business account boards. The application is used exclusively by its owner and is not distributed to third parties.
We do not collect any personal data from Pinterest users. The only data processed by this application is:
— Board IDs and Pin IDs belonging to our own Pinterest account, used to publish content.
— Image URLs and product descriptions from our own product catalog, used as content for pins.
— API access tokens, stored locally on our own server and never shared.
Data obtained through the Pinterest API is used exclusively to automate the posting of our own content to our own Pinterest boards. We do not use Pinterest-derived data for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose. All Pinterest-derived data is deleted immediately after each posting operation is complete.
We do not store any Pinterest user data. API access tokens are stored locally and are rotated regularly. No Pinterest content or metadata is retained beyond the duration of each API call.
We do not sell, share, redistribute, or transfer any Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to any third parties under any circumstances.
This application uses the Pinterest API in accordance with Pinterest's API Terms of Service and Developer Guidelines. Our application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest Inc.
All API credentials are stored locally on a private server with restricted access. We take reasonable technical measures to protect against unauthorized access to our systems.
